The Zeeland Community Hospital Foundation continues our tradition of caring by raising financial support for community services, charitable care, and hospital advancements. In considering current and future needs of the community and hospital, the foundation is committed to our mission to be "Caring people...caring for people."
The foundation builds relationships with the community, its members, corporate citizens, organizations, and other foundations to generate financial and in-kind contributions to support the following funds:
Caring For Neighbors Fund Few people are immune to unexpected financial challenges. The Caring Neighbors Fund pays for non-reimbursed charitable care provided each year.
Providing Community Services Zeeland Community Hospital responds to the individual and collective needs of the community by providing classes, special health programs, speaker presentations, screenings, immunizations, and more. The Community Services Fund supports these services offered at no cost or reduced cost to the community.
Building a Better Future Zeeland Community Hospital understands that it takes progressive, state-of-the-art equipment and facilities as well as medical expertise and compassion to care for the individual needs of the community. The Building a Better Future Fund supports medical technology, building improvements, scholarships, etc.
The foundation annually sponsors the annual Zeeland Community Hospital golf tournament. Proceeds from this event are distributed between the hospital's community initiatives and local charitable organizations.
