Nutrition Counseling Services

Nutrition CounselingAsk your physician for a referral, which includes a complete nutritional assessment, personalized to meet your needs. Many insurance providers, including Medicare and Medicaid, may cover all or a portion of medical nutrition therapy services.

Individual Nutrition Counseling

A registered dietitian will perform a complete nutrition assessment to ascertain metabolic, nutrition and lifestyle status. Based on the assessment, the dietitian will direct each patient in identifying practical and achievable goals. An individual nutrition treatment plan will be identified and developed in the ensuing sessions.

"Healthy Weighs to Live" Weight Management Program

This adult weight management program includes nutrition education and physical activities. The program encourages personal goal setting and effective life-long nutrition and exercise strategies. For more infromation, call 616.748.3651.

Nutrition Counseling and Wellness Education

A registered dietitian is available to provide education, counseling and speak on a variety of topics. Sessions can either be conducted onsite or offsite.  A variety of formats and tools will be tailored to meet the needs of your organization. Topics include:
