CTs & MRIs
CT scans and MRIs provide high-resolution images of the structure of any organ or area of the body which were previously inaccessible by conventional X-ray. CT scans can also detect calcium deposits, cysts and abscesses. MRIs are best used to examine the central nervous system, including the brain and spinal cord. It can also help identify tumors, strokes, degenerative diseases, inflammation, infection and other abnormalities in organs and other soft tissues.
