ZCH Facilities Designed to Promote Healing
A Healing Environment
Zeeland Community Hospital is designed to promote healing. Research provides conclusive evidence that a hospital’s design can have a positive impact on patients. Various studies have shown that patient-oriented design, as we have included throughout the hospital, can:
- Speed recovery
- Reduce infection rates
- Lower reliance on pain medication
- Increase patient safety
- Improve patient satisfaction
Natural light, greenery and a relaxed comfortable interior will help patients recover as quickly as possible, while also making it convenient and pleasant for friends and families to visit.
